Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Evelyn Smith. She was a member of Honea Path Presbyterian Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Snipes loved flowers and adored her children and grandchild. Her family was her whole world. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 47 years of the home are: her son, Greg Eugene Snipes of Honea Path; her daughter, Angie (Shane) Lloyd of Belton; her beloved grandson, Mason Lloyd and a special nephew, Marty Brown of Belton.
Mrs. Snipes was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Gail Smith Hill and Angela Pearl Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the services at the graveside.
