Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Cliff and Gladys Morgan Brock. She formerly attended Crossroads Fellowship Church and was a homemaker. She loved sitting on her front porch and cooking and baking for her family. Mrs. Gambrell enjoyed old classic country music, old western TV shows and movies. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are: a son, William Gambrell of Belton; a brother, Wayne Brock of Honea Path; four sisters, Becky (Larry) Ballard of Due West, Carolyn Fisher, Elizabeth (Tony) Satterfield, and Jewell Parris, all of Honea Path; five grandchildren, Latasha Epting (Clayton), Franky Lee Gambrell (Cami), Kayla Gambrell (Marissa), Kendall Gambrell (Katie), and Kris Gambrell; and ten great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gambrell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Frankie Gambrell; her daughter, Brenda Gambrell; two brothers, Junior Brock and Donnie Brock; and a sister, Jeanette Lollis.
Family memorial services will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at Crossroads Fellowship Church with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Friday at the church prior to the service.
