Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James Robert and Corrine Mary Saxon Elledge. He was a member of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Church. He was a retired electrician with Grendell Mills. A long time member of the Ware Shoals Fire Department he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was Zebra One on the CB radio for over 50 years.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two daughters, Jamie Elledge and Angel Elledge both of Ware Shoals,, a son-in-law, Jimmy Hughes, a brother, James Ray Elledge (Gail) of Ware Shoals, and three sisters, Judy Elaine Conyers (Barry) of Greenwood, Joyce Ann Bowlin (Kenneth) of Statesville, NC, and Tammy Jean Morrison of Newton, NC, 3 grandchildren, Emma, Harley, and Dalton, a special friend, Andy Osborne and wife Melissa, and his canine companions, Roni, ToTo, and Maggie.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a grandchild, Ashlyn Buff.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Ware Shoals Cemetery with Mr. Tommy McClinton and Mr. Jimmy Patton officiating.
