Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Harold Vernon and Edna Louise Bobo Mattison. She was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and retired from Chiquola Mills. Sarah will be remembered for her frequent walks through town with her beloved dog, BJ.
Sarah is survived by her sister, Betty Jean Mattison and her friend and caretaker, Janet Henry of Honea Path. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Shirley Ann Mattison and her brother, Harold Ray Mattison.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Private burial will follow the service.
