Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Daniel Neal Whitford of Covington, Kentucky; her parents Ralph McCraw and Gertie Mae Laugher McCraw Corn, and three siblings, Louise McCraw Lewis, Dera McCraw Brown, and Gary Corn.
She was born in East Flat Rock, North Carolina, and held multiple jobs, such as accounts payable and a certified nursing assistant. However, her greatest joy was being a loving mother to her surviving children Greg (Michelle), Doug (Kim), Sherry (Weldon), and Dan; in addition to many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a visitation will be available one hour prior in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
