Born September 15, 1927, in Ninety Six, S.C, he was the son of the late Henry William Horne and Pauline Plynie Dorn Horne. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was retired from Grendell Mills. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Surviving are his wife of the home, three sons, Ed Horne, Jr. (Josie), Frank Horne, and Scot Horne (Ashley) all of Greenwood, two daughters, Kathy Horne Bryan of Greenwood and Tonya Horne O’Kelly of Florence, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by six brothers, James, Johnnie, Rufus, Henry, Jerry and Elbert Horne, and a sister, Mamie Lee Horne Turner.
Private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.
