Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Jackson Thomas and Addis Leroy Martin Bratcher. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from Blair Mills. Having always been a quiet and reserved person, after his illness, he became a loving family man. If you knew him, you loved him.
Surviving are: a brother, Paul Bratcher of Belton; two sisters, Allene Phillips of Honea Path and Janie Turnage of Abbeville; his special niece and caregiver, Annette Daritey of Belton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bratcher was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 5 P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Evans and Rev. Tim Edmonds officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org or to The Gideons International, BHP Camp, PO Box 733, Belton, SC 29627.
