Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Arthur Jr. and Lillie Virginia Jordan Griffin. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and worked at Milliken and Company.
Surviving are: her son, Donnie Williams of Belton; her daughter, Stacy King of Anderson; her brother, Ryan (Linda) Griffin of KY; grandchildren, Tony King, Bailee King Harbin, Jessi King and Griffin Williams; and great-grandchildren, Ryder King, Jemma King, Jenna-Lee King, Luke Wilson, and due in two months, Stetson Harbin.
Mrs. Sorrow was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Hilda Browning and Dolly Griffin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
