Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late James Samuel, Sr., and Margaret Kay McClain. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Sealed Air Corporation.
Surviving are: his son, Brandon McClain (Christal Wilson) of Honea Path; his daughter, Brittany (Brandon) Brock of Honea Path; his sister, Kay McClain of Belton, four grandchildren, Yates McClain, Jaden Brock, Wila-Bergin McClain, and Jacob Brock; and his girlfriend, Sandy Estes of Belton.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jimmy McClain.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Dorriety officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Brittany Brock, and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
