Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of Nancy Bell Watson and the late Gordon Watson. He was a member of Donalds United Methodist Church and attended Dixie High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing , a member of Donalds Bass Club and was previously employed with Trans Plastics of Greer.
Surviving are his wife of the home, his mother of Donalds, a brother, Gordon Bruce Watson of Donalds, a nephew, Jesse Abercrombie and two nieces, Ashley McElrath and Blakely Abercrombie, and his canine companion, “Jed”.
He was predeceased by his father and a nephew, Jamie Watson.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 29th at 3:30 pm at Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 205 Greenville Church Road, Donalds, SC 29638 with Rev. Keith Crocker officiating.
