Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Carl Anthony Stanley, Sr. and Cathy Wilson McCartney. He was a member of Parkland Baptist Church of Greenwood. He was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School, Class of 2007, and was formerly the General Manager of McAlister’s Deli of Greenville.

Surviving are his father, Carl Anthony Stanley, Sr. of  Abbington, VA, his mother and step-father, Cathy and Robert McCartney of Ware Shoals, a paternal grandmother, Dorothy Gilbert of St. Petersburg, FL, his maternal grandparents, John Elonza and Pauline Lee Wilson of Ware Shoals, a brother, Carl Anthony Stanley, Jr. (Jasmin) of Greenwood, a sister, Crystal Farmer (Kevin) of Ware Shoals, a beloved niece and nephew, Carlyn Stanley and Mikey Farmer, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Holiday Church, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Byron Wood officiating.
