Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Bobby Sue Darby Henley and the late John Frank Henley, Sr. He was a member of Gethsemane Church and was retired after 29 years of service from the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Laurens. He was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School Class of 1974.
Surviving are his mother, Bobby Sue Henley of Fountain Inn, his wife, Elizabeth of the home, a son, John Frank Henley, III (Guadalupe) of Greenville, a daughter, Katie Lynn Henley of Ware Shoals, three sisters, Teresa Hamilton of Anderson, Pam Hart of Simpsonville, and Kathy Story of Zippra Hill, FL, and three grandchildren, Cheyanne Holloway, Kristyn Holloway, and Harper Henley
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Gethsemane Church with Rev. Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM on Tuesday at Gethsemane Church prior to the service. The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Gethsemane Church Building Fund, 104 Burnt Bridge Road, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
