Born in Fort Benning GA, he was a son of the late Henry Junior and Eleanor Culbertson Haynes. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 50 years of the home are: his son, D.J. Haynes of Honea Path; his daughter, Michelle (Rusty) Estes of Honea Path; his brother-in-law, Mike Henderson of Ware Shoals; and three grandchildren, Austin Estes, Jake Smith and Hannah Smith.
Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Tammy Henderson.
Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Byron Wood and Chaplain Joy Bryant officiating.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Michelle, 101 McKay Rd, Honea Path, SC and will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
