Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Broadus and Lucille Armstrong Lindley. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from Monsanto. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are: two daughters, Carolyn Finley of Honea Path and Barbara (Mike) Moore of Fork Shoals; a sister-in-law, Hilda Lindley of Craytonville; four grandchildren, Amy, Jamie, Casey, and Kelli; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kaelyn, Haleigh, Jasey, Beau, and Luke; and three great-great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Leighton, and Kannon.
Mrs. Canada was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers; and a son-in-law, Steve Finley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gayle Summey-Beaudrot officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Carolyn, 16 McKay Rd, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
