Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Wilma Olivia Timmerman Redden. She was a member of Conastee Church of God of Prophecy, and was retired from her work as a housekeeper. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Gilstrap is survived by two sons: Tony Gilstrap (Angela) and Dearl B. Gilstrap Jr. (Sharon) both of Piedmont; five daughters: Debra Milton (David) of Pelzer, Teresa Alewine (Robert) of Honea Path, Wanda Strickland (Dale) of Honea Path, Tina M. Wood of Belton and Lisa Inman of Idaho; her sister Virginia Sewell of Marietta, SC; fifteen grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers: William and Hubert Redden.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 14 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM at Pruitt Funeral Home, prior to the service. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Coleman Memorial Cemetery, 1599 Geer Highway, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
