Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Flora Jane Sentell Stewart. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Laurens where she served as a Sunday school teacher and lunch room attendant at the Faith Baptist Church School for many years. She was retired from Richloom of Ware Shoals.
Surviving are three sons, David Michael Coker of Waterloo, Danny Ray Coker (Melinda) of Greenville, and Joseph Franklin Coker (Tami) of Laurens, one daughter, Elizabeth Annette Coker Anderson (Robbie) of Waterloo, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Robin Timothy Coker, a daughter, Doris Elaine Coker, a brother, Buddy Wayne Stewart, and three sisters, Helen Gravley, Lois Perry, and Sarah Anders.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19 at 11 AM at Lakewood Family Worship Center, 3915 Hwy 72/221 E, Greenwood with Rev. Frank Russell Addis and Rev. Allen Perry officiating. Graveside services will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens on Saturday at 1 PM.
