Honea Path – Harold Edward “Eddie” Smith, 62, husband of Debra Ann Crawford Smith, of West McGee Street, died Friday, January 28, 2022 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Otis Edgar and Patsy June Ambrose Smith. He formerly worked at Riegel Textiles.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Honea Path are: his son, Otis (Jessica) Smith of Honea Path; his daughter, June (Benji Holder) Smith of Honea Path; his brother, Donnie (Beverly) Smith of Honea Path; his sister, Jackie Ballard of Honea Path; and nine grandchildren, Harley, Alyssa, Stacy, Dana, Jasmine, Bryson, Presley, Lane and Josh.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. The family will speak with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to The Eddie Smith Fund, PO Box 266, Honea Path, SC 29654.
