Born in Greenwood he was a son of the late William Milford and Frances King Allison. He was of the Protestant Faith and was a surveyors helper. He never met a stranger and was a lover of animals. He enjoyed spending time on the Saluda River and at Pitts Park.
Surviving are two brothers, Stanley Marcus Allison (his twin) of Guntersville, AL and William Ronnie Allison of Piedmont, three sisters, June Allison Roark of Ware Shoals, Linda Allison Peters of Mauldin, and Donna Allison Williams of Williamston, and a special step-granddaughter, Chasity Lothridge.
