Born in Joanna, she was a daughter of the late John Edward, Jr. and Banna Franklin Braswell. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of the home, a son Mark Mann (Sharon) of Ware Shoals, two daughters, Cheryl Harrison (Rickey) of Abbeville, and Shelia McMillan (Chris) of Greenwood, a brother, Glenn Eddie Braswell (Patsy) of Laurens, a sister, Linda B. Sheppard of Silverstreet, twelve grandchildren and thirty four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday September 22 at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM on Wednesday at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood SC 29646.
