Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Elizabeth Banister Brock. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock retired from Monsanto after 33 years of service. Her grandbabies were the biggest part of her heart. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of the home are: four sons, Rickey Johnson, Mike (Shirley) Brock, Doug Brock, and Brian (Carissa) Brock; two daughters, Sherry (Don) Jenkins and Kathy (Danny Joe) Daniel; ten grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Frankie Johnson; her brother, Wallace Brock; and four sisters, Ruth Burton, Betty Jean Brock, Janie Wilson and Hazel Ballard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.
