Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Linnie Campbell Fontaine. She was of the Roman Catholic faith, and was retired from her work as custodian for the City of Belton after 34 years. She loved her family, and was an advocate for animal welfare.
She is survived by one son: John Dillion (Denis) of Florida; two daughters: Donna Dube (Emil) of Wolfeboro, NH and Doreen Howe of Honea Path; five grandchildren: Nicholas Dube, Richard Howe (Amber), Vanessa Marchant (Mitch), Olivia Prince (Eric), and Jennifer Cabral (Mike); ten great-grandchildren: Bryson Sheppard, Emerson Prince, Kassidy Dube, Kayleigh Howell, Chloe Marchant, Rhett Marchant, Reed Marchant, Jonah Marchant, Xowie Dube, and Haven Cabral; one nephew: Michael Fontaine; and one niece: Michele Fontaine.
She was preceded in death by one daughter: Deborah Knight; one brother: Augustine Fontaine; one sister: Lillian Fontaine; one grandson: Kristopher Dube; and one son-in-law: Rusty Thomason.
She had a special bond with her boxer Kona, and her cat Smudge.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 30 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenta Cowan officiating.
The family is at their respective homes, and will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
