Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Perry Cecil and Annie Bell Davis Guest. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. He retired from Milliken, Honea Path Plant and later from Guest Small Engine Repair of Honea Path.
Surviving are his wife, Sue of the home, three daughters, Ann Fleming (Ronnie) of Honea Path, Lynn Smith of Honea Path, and Hilda Robertson (Mark) of Boiling Springs, four grandchildren, Jason Fleming (Shelli), Kristopher Fleming (Jodie), Dain Smith (Aubrey), and Talor Smith, and four great-grandchildren, Dalton Fleming, Kaitlyn Fleming, Perry Smith, and Bo Smith.
He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Sybil Thorne and Lorraine Robinson, and his step-mother Frances Ballard Guest.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Lynn Smith at 602 Will Hanks Road, and will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM on Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.
