Born in Honea Path, SC, she was a daughter of the late Francis Marion and Sallie Taylor Ragsdale.  She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church where she had served in the choir, Sunday school department and the GA’s.  She graduated in 1951 from Honea Path High School and attended Winthrop College. She was retired from Wometco and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for many years.

Surviving are a son, James Mark Gambrell of Belton, two daughters, Jane Gambrell White (Jimmy) and Janice Gambrell Campbell  both of Anderson, three grandchildren, Aimee White Sharp (B.J.), Matthew Stephen White (Taylor), and Chad Campbell (Cathy), and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Steve A. Campbell, two brothers, Lawrence Marion Ragsdale and Frank Allen Ragsdale, and a sister,  Jeane Ragsdale Taylor.

Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Eastview Cemetery with Dr. Matthew Danuser officiating. Masks and social distancing reccomended.

The family is at their respective homes. Friends may pay their respects from 10 to 12 Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home. Masks and social distancing reqauired.
