Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Harmon Humphrey and Sara Long Kirby. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she had served in various capacities, the most current being that of prayer coordinator.
Aside from her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Johanna Ware Taylor, a special brother-in-law, James H. Cranford, and a daughter-in-law, Susanna Ware.
Surviving are her children, Keith G. Bryant (Carol) of Summerton, S.C., Charles Thomas “Chuck” Ware of Laurens, S.C., and Deborah Bryant Franklin (Terry) of Moore, S.C., son-in-law, Gerald Taylor of Ware Shoals, S.C., two sister-in-laws, Angela Ware Willis and Nancy Ware Waldrop, five grandchildren, Kandice Bryant Davis (Kaleb), Amy McClain Lane (Neal), Andrew Franklin, Sarhel Franklin (Jules), and Charla Taylor, two great-grandchildren, Savanna Grace Lane and Karson Brooke Davis, two godsons, James Kirby Cranford and Christopher James Humbert, three heart-adopted daughters, Angel Davis, Sunshine Fletcher, and Bless Fisher.
She is also survived by a beautiful and lifetime friend, a sister, Ann Kirby Cranford.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gayle Summey-Beaudrot officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12-1 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
