Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Charlie Arlin Holbrooks and the late Annette Gilbert Holbrooks. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a son, Christopher Steven Holbrooks of NC, two daughters, Tina Lashay Baily of AL and Gina Annette Holbrooks of Ware Shoals, a step-daughter, Tasha Bowers, a brother Mark Holbrooks (Roxanne) of Ware Shoals, a sister, Tammy Rice (Dale) of Ware Shoals, eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the home of his brother, Mark, 1273 Powerhouse Road, Ware Shoals, SC. Burial will be private.
