Born in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of Minnie Lee Griffin Davis and the late Bobby Davis. He was retired from UPS Trucking. He served in the Army National Guard.
He was a graduate of Laurens High School and Lander College.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are his mother Minnie Lee Davis of Laurens, two sisters, Loraine Sams and Jean Bayne, both of Greenville, a brother, Daniel “Danny” Chapman of Anderson. He was pre-deceased by his father, Bobby Davis, a brother, Mike Chapman, three niece’s and one nephew.
Memorial services will be held at 12 o’clock on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Branch Church (formerly Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church) 4033 Neely Ferry Rd., Laurens SC.
