Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Lowery Presley and Frances Calvert Hodges. He was of the Baptist Faith and was formerly employed at Clendenon Lumber Company.
Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Chris Hodges of Anderson and Ryan Hodges of Waterloo, a daughter, Dominique Gambrell of Anderson, a step-daughter, Missy Langston (Jason) of Belton, a brother, Riegel Hodges (Dollie) of Waterloo, seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his son, Devin Hodges and two sisters, Maxine Davis and Sally Prill.
Memorial services with limited seating will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Social distancing and masks are required.
