Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Lude Odell and Lillie Corrine Lollis Medlock. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and had formerly worked as a seamstress.
Surviving are; four daughters, Betty (Winford) Cain of Honea Path, Janice (Randy) Pruitt of Honea Path, Wanda (Chuck) Bolden of Belton, and Teresa Davis of Honea Path; two sisters, Orabelle (Jimmy) Clinkscales and Thelma Williams, both of Greenwood; a son-in-law, Allan Campbell of Belton; seven grandchildren, Curtis Campbell, Krystal Mahon, Tiffany Campbell, James Pruitt, Michael Davis, Matthew Bolden, and Daniel Davis; eight great-grandchildren, Evan, Brandon, Dylan, Justin, Lexi, Charli, Zach, and Weston.
Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Kathy Campbell, four brothers, William, Barney, Joe, and Grover, and a granddaughter, April Pruitt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Columbia Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Brooks and Rev, Dale Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home. An extended visitation, in order to allow for social distancing and occupancy limits, will be held from 3-6 P.M. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home.
