Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Douglas Willard Cole and Gloria Hamby Bolden. He was a truck driver for Penske Logistics of Greenwood. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a member of the Greenville Chapter of HOG.
Surviving are his step-mother, Sarah Cole of Irmo, two sons, Randall Chad Cole of Belton and Steven Nimmons (Rayna) of Anderson, two brothers James Cole of Greenwood and Mike Dillard (Rebecca) of Irmo, four sisters, Derrie Mitchell (Randy) of Anderson, Sandy Brocklehurst (David) of Belton, Melissa Lay (Kenny) of Myrtle Beach and Angelia Byers (Rick) of Irmo, and three grandchildren, Kahylie, Bryce, and Braxton Nimmons, all of Anderson.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Mark Krieger officiating.
The family is at the home of his twin sister, Sandy Brocklehurt, 1302 Henry Thomas Road, Belton. An extended visitation, in order to allow for social distancing and occupancy limits, will be held from 3 to 7 PM Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path.
