Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Willie and Jessie Howell Lollis. He attended church at Donalds Church of God and retired from Anderson School District #2. He was twice married, first to the late Mary Alewine Lollis.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 35 years of the home are: three sons, Timmy (Debbie) Lollis of Belton, Bobby (Rose) Stewart and James (Sherry) Stewart, both of Honea Path; his daughter, Angela (Ray) Brock of Honea Path; three brothers, O.E. Lollis and Luther Lollis, both of Honea Path, and Jimmy Lollis of GA; two sisters, Margaret Elmore and Evelyn Roark, both of Honea Path, thirteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, four brothers, Jerry, Dennis, Clarence, and Melvin Lollis, and two sisters, Lois Campbell and Nellie Campbell.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Garden of Memories with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. Travis Dyer officiating.
