Born in Greenwood on May 24, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Dewey L. and Virginia Wells Campbell. She was a member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school in the primary ages, Willing Workers, and the Ladies Class for many years. She was a 1970 honor graduate of Ware Shoals High School. Where she was a volunteer in Ware Shoals School District 51 and as a mentor. She was Volunteer of the Year in 1988.
Surviving are her husband of the home, a son, Jonathan “Jon” Keith Davenport (Pam) of Honea Path, two grandchildren, Kirsten and Samantha, and three great-grandchildren, a special aunt, Dorothy Pulley and her Godchildren: Andrew and Emily Pulley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy H. Campbell.
Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.
The family is at the home of her son, Jon Davenport, Sauer Farm Road, Honea Path and will speak to friends after the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt.
