Born in Cookeville, TN, he was a son of the late James Douglas and Dorothy Carolyn Thackston McClain. He was a member of Second Chance Church of Anderson and was a Route Salesman for Frito Lay, having served there for over 20 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are one son, Joseph McClain of the home, one daughter Brandi Moore of Charlotte, NC, one brother, Keith McClain of Honea Path, one sister, Kristi Davis of Lexington, and three grandchildren, Elise, Kaitlyn, and Jesse Van Pelt.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Kathi Johnson.
Kevin enjoyed riding his Harley and had ridden nearly 150,000 miles over the years. He also enjoyed playing guitar. He was a loving, caring, Husband, Father, Brother and Pappy.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Overby, Rev. Sam Duncan, and Mr. Jerry Allred, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ike Allred, Jerry Allred, Jr., Randall Todd, Luke Williams, Matthew Williams, Daniel Johnson, Justin Davis, and David Johnson.
