Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she was a daughter of Hettie Vaughn Darby-Voegeli and the late Henry “Bill” Darby. She was a member of Donalds Baptist Church and was self-employed. She was a loving wife, mother, and “Dede”.
Surviving in addition to her mother and her husband are: her son, Christopher Alan Andrews of McCormick; two daughters, Brandy Tare (John) Reynolds of Roebuck and Amy Leigh Andrews of Spartanburg; two brothers, Henry Darby of Greensboro, NC, and Mac Rutland of Spartanburg; two sisters, Martha Phillips of Honea Path and Bonnie Hellams of Gastonia, NC; her maternal grandmother, Alice Vaughn; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father and a sister, Patsy Rutland.
Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2020 at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating.
