Born in Laurens County, he was a son of Hazel Allison Chapman and the late William Cecil Traynham. He was a member of Henderson Baptist Church and attended Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church. He was a retired self employed welder. He was a Farrier and raised horses all of his life.
Surviving are his mother of Laurens, his partner of Ware Shoals, three sons, Franklin Traynham of Gray Court, Lance Traynham of Wooster, OH, and Timothy Traynham of Charlotte, NC, four daughters, Renee Sears, Tammy Traynham, and Barbie Peterson, all of Wooster, OH, and Bethany Traynham of Charlotte, 18 Grandchildren, and 25 Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Virginia Alice Jennings and Nancy Traynham.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Wiles and Rev. John Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ware Shoals Cemetery.
