Born in Anderson, he was a son of Lewis Mark Poore of Honea Path and Donna Lee Brocklehurst Poore of Anderson. He was of the Baptist Faith. Nathan was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served with the 101st Airborne in Afghanistan during the Enduring Freedom Campaign. He was employed by Progressive Packaging of Simpsonville/Mauldin.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Wendy of Honea Path, his mother of Anderson, fiancé, Leah Smith of the home, a daughter Gracie Mae Poore of the home, and a brother, Kevin Poore (Beth) of Chapin, Paternal grandmother, Janette Poore of Honea Path and Maternal grandfather, Charles Brocklehurst of Cross Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 1 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of his father on Legion Lake Road, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 11:30 to 1 PM Tuesday prior to the service at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path.
