Born in Clinton, he was a son of the late William and Cora Worley. Rosie lived a special life filled with kindness and love to everyone he met. He loved God and enjoyed going to church. He was a member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church. He also liked watching the Atlanta Braves and loved taking care of his cats and feeding the birds. Rosie was a wonderful person and touched many lives. He was truly a blessing to the family of Danny and Jan Wells.
Rosie was the last of his immediate family. He was predeceased by three brothers, James, Edward and Perry Worley and two sisters, Geneva Samples and Ruby Wells. He is survived by many nephews and nieces who he all loved.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Wiles and Rev. Marcus Bishop officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Thursday at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church prior to the service. Private Graveside services will be held. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at NHC for their love and care of Rosie.
