Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Linda Fay Mahon Burdette and the late Jerry Dewitt McMahan. He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship and had formerly worked at Belton Industries.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Anderson are: his wife, Elaine McMahan; two sons, Brian (Candy) Wooten, and Travis (Lynn) Wooten; his daughter, Lisa (Terry) Strickland; his brother, Dewitt (Sheron) McMahan; eight grandchildren, Mikalyn Hudson, Monica Wooten, Taylor (Daniel) Irvin, Braxton Wooten, Sailor Wooten, Belle’ Wooten, Jaxon Kade Wooten, and Gabby Strickland; one great-grandchild,Hudson, and three, soon to be born, Autumnn, Brennox, and Easton; and a nephew, Ethan McMahan.
Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Garden of Memories.
