Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Jimmy Ray Sr. and Polly Surrett McCuen. He was of the Pentecostal faith and employed with Barrett’s Stump Grinding.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his parents of Honea Path are: his son, Cody Ray McCuen of Belton; two daughters, Dana McCuen of Easley and Katie Dawn McCuen of Pelzer; and his brother, Shane (Sheba) McCuen of Williamston. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Hubbard.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev, Keith Crocker and Rev. E. Howard Steen officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
