Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Joe M. and Katie Elizabeth Carter Lindley. She was a dedicated Christian and a longtime member of the Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was retired from Riegel Textile Co. She was a friend to everyone and she loved cats and dogs.
Mrs. Grace was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by a son Richard M. Holley of Ware Shoals, a grandson, Michael Jones and wife Tammy of Hickory Tavern, and a great-granddaughter, Jaylan Jones. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her former husband, William Marvin Holley, two sons, William Wayne Holley and Terry L. Holley, two brothers, James and Harold Lindley, and six sisters, Evelyn McKee, Mattie Ruth Lindley, Ruby Bagwell, Julia Lindley Hall, Gertrude Higel, and Bennie Pettigrew.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Anthony Irby and Rev. Mac Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
