Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late John Henry and Betty Jo Haynes Lusk. He was of the Baptist faith and had formerly worked at Belton Industries. Robert loved fishing, playing guitar, and riding his trike. He was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 41 years of the home are: his daughter, Dawn Covan of Ware Shoals; two brothers, Henry (Lynne) Lusk and Tony Lusk, both of Belton, his sister, Gail (Phil) Richards of Chesnee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Mark Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening at Pruitt Funeral Home.
