Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of John Walter Brown and the late Peggy Holloway Brown. She was a member of Cross Hill Church of God, and was retired from her work as a teacher.
In addition to her husband of the home and her father of Belton, Mrs. Roos is survived by two sons: Chad Hansen and wife Lynn of Belton and Kevin Hansen of Charleston; three brothers: Walter Brown and wife Merry, Randall Brown, and Allen Brown and wife Cindy, all of Belton; three sisters: Janet Barnes, Deborah Nicholson and husband Hal, and Kim Brown, all of Belton; and six grandchildren: Sabrina Hansen, Kyra Hansen, Katie Howard, Destiny Howard, Chrisopher Howard, and Savannah Kelley.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Burdette officiating.
