Born in Edgefield County, she was a daughter of the late William “Bud” Wright and Lula Mae McDowell Pardue. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church and was retired from Huggins Garment Company of Donalds.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Powell (Kay) of Anderson and Randy Powell (Cindy) of Hickory Tavern, three daughters, Susan Bannister (Larry) of Belton, Sharon Parnell (Jimmy) of Iva, and Janis Baskin (Rick) of Fair Play, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Talbert and Herbert Pardue.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will be the home of a daughter, Sharon Parnell, 500 Suttles Rd., Iva and will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home.
