Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Pinkney and Nancy Thompson Whitt. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church, where she formerly served as a Sunday School Teacher, WMU Leader, and RA Director. Mrs. Medlock loved fishing and was a homemaker.
Surviving are: a son, George (Joan) Medlock of Honea Path; four daughters, Geraleen (Danny) Crawford, Linda Hall, Clarice Allen, and Darlene (Larry) Hendrix, all of Honea Path; a daughter-in-law, Eugenia Medlock; special sister-in-law, Clara Mae Gambrell; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, two special ladies, Kem Medlin and Frances Poole, and her much loved dog, Nitro.
Mrs. Medlock is preceded in death by, her parents, husband, a son, Ryland Medlock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Columbia Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Brooks and Rev. Dale Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
