Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Albert Dixie and Minnie Cook Cathcart. She was a member of Ware Shoals United Methodist Church and was retired from Riegel Textile Co.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Len Taylor (Sheila) of Ware Shoals, Bruce Taylor of Columbia, two grandchildren, Lance and Allison Taylor and two great-grandchildren, Landon and Kaylee Taylor. Also, surviving is a sister-in-law, Kat Cathcart. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ed, J.D. and Albert Cathcart and two sisters, Lucille Taylor and Mary Kay.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Byron Wood officiating.
