Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Roy and Evelyn Branyon Lindsay. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Century 3. Duck was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 45 years of the home are: his son, Dusty (Chasity) Lindsay of Honea Path, his daughter, Tonya Lindsay of Honea Path, his brother, Olin Lindsay of Belton, eight sisters, Marion Banks of Donalds, Judy (Wayne) Knight, Carolyn (Jimmy) Ashley, Clara (Skeet) Ashley, and June (Ronnie) Gambrell, all of Honea Path, Jeanette Reed of Belton, Betty (Bill) Wilson of Williamston, and JoAnn (Dan) Sellers of Anderson, two grandchildren, Briar and Kinzingten Lindsay, special friends, Cody Huffman and Danny Cantrell, and his furry friends, Molly, Lucy, and Mama Dog.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lindsay is preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny and David Lindsay.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Cancer Association of Anderson County, 215 E. Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621, or to the charity of one’s choice.
