Born in Aiken, he was a son of the late Leroy Chandler and Frances Jeanette Waller Wigley. He was a member of the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Sunshine Class. He was a former client at the Burton Center.

Surviving are a brother, Barry Wigley of Bath, two sisters, Kay Leagans (George) of Ware Shoals and Fran Pilo of Austin, TX., He is also survived by his adopted family Danny and Carolyn Kimball and children of Aiken, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Joe Wigley. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be  Burton Center clients and employees.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. George Leagans and Rev. Bob Cato officiating. A service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, SC . Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC.

The family is at the home of his sister, Kay Leagans, and will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to The Masters Mission, Box 338, Ware Shoals, SC 29692 or to the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, 30 South Greenwood Ave., Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
