Born in Springfield, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Merle Arthur and Mary Frances Priddy Downs. She was twice married, first to the late Vernon Ray Holliday. She was retired and a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Williamston.
Surviving are three sons, Dwayne Holliday (Christina) of Belton, William Holliday of Williamston, Travis Holliday (Amy) of Charleston, three daughters, Nancy Sanders (David), Sherry Holliday Trotter, and Linda Sherman (Timmy) all of West Pelzer, a brother, Artie Downs of Windermere, Fl., three sisters, Corrie Johnson of Shepherdsville, Ky., Joyce Hastings of Pelzer, and Cathy Dehollez of Orlando, Fl., twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a son Richard Holliday, a brother, Wayne Downs, and a sister, Carolyn Dease.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path, with Rev. Matthew Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Cemetery, Pelzer. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
