Dorothy Evatt

Honea Path – Dorothy Erskine Evatt, 73, wife of Jim Evatt, of Evatt Road, died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Kanon and Zella Wilson Erskine. She was a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the North American Mission Board where she served as an appointed missionary.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons, John Evatt of Honea Path and Todd (Letha) Evatt of Belton, two daughters, Angela Arnold of Honea Path and Allison McElveen of Anderson, two brothers, Bill (Virginia) Erskine and Larry (Connie) Erskine, both of Anderson, two sisters, Martha (Ray) Hawkins and Lucille Wilson, both of Anderson, and six grandchildren, Danielle and Seth Evatt, Reece and Macyn McElveen, and Zachary and Elijah Arnold.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Neals Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Dooley and Rev. Jerald Willingham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
