Maxine Gilmer

Honea Path – Ellen Maxine Gilmer Gilmer, 68, widow of James Robert Gilmer, of 309 Armstrong Circle, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Angeline Culbertson Gilmer. She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship and retired from Blair Mill.

Surviving are: her son, Mike Gilmer of Honea Path, two brothers, Jerry (Peggy) Gilmer and Wayne (Diane) Gilmer, both of Greenville, two sisters, Marian (Dennis) Branyon and Annette Burkett, both of Honea Path, special brother-in-law, Chuck (Donna) Gilmer of Belton, special niece, Kristen (Jeff) Porter and special great-nephew, William Porter, both of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Gilmer and a sister, Jean Burkett.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.

The family is at the home of her sister, Marian Branyon, 307 Harper Street, Honea Path and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
