Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late George and Berley Bowick Horne. She was of the Pentecostal faith and retired from Riegel Textile Co.
Surviving are two sons, Scott Mabrey (Sherry) and Tony Gaines all of Ware Shoals, a step-son, Roland Weathers (Shirley) of Ware Shoals, a brother, Terry Horne of Albuquerque, NM, a sister, Runell Gainey of Greenwood, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son Bobby Mabrey and step-son, Jimmy Weathers and William “Red” Weathers.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Mark Lowe officiating.
